Eric Grodan is Founder of the Grodan Law Group, a boutique Trust and Estate law practice located in Studio City, California. By helping Holocaust survivors and witnesses share their testimonies and transfer family heirlooms to their loved ones as an attorney for Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation, Eric developed a passion for estate-planning.

The Grodan Law Group provides wealth transfer workshops & seminars for parents and educators of all income levels. Teachers, educators and parents enthusiastically endorse our workshops and seminars. A special emphasis of the presentations is on planning for families with minor children.

The presentation outlines the tools of a comprehensive estate plan in California. Participants will gain important information about such legal documents as a will, living trust, powers of attorney, health care directive and a living will.

The seminar addresses the following questions: What are the consequences of not having these documents drafted by an attorney with expertise in this area of law? Does a do-it-yourself will and trust kit work to avoid probate or have any other utility?

Eric's common sense and practical dad's style of addressing serious topics of life and death, health and disability, and gifts and taxes, in a warm, engaging and non-threatening manner has made him a highly respected and sought after speaker throughout the United States.

Wendy Kingston began her career as an attorney focusing on families and children with top family lawyer, Alexandra Leichter, in her high profile practice in Beverly Hills. While working with Ms. Leichter, Wendy handled numerous family law issues for top clients including, child custody, marital dissolution, and division of property.

Wendy, then, joined the Children's Law Center of Los Angeles in 2000, serving as a Staff Attorney representing children in juvenile dependency cases. Almost 30,000 children, who are victims of abuse and neglect, are entrusted to the care of the Los Angeles County Juvenile Dependency Court system. The court's primary mission is to ensure that these youth are safe, healthy, and secure. Wendy represented at-risk youth in the Juvenile Dependency System to advocate for the best interest of each child. She skillfully handled complex dependency court proceedings on a daily basis, negotiating through the maze of child welfare agencies, case workers, investigators, parents, guardians, foster families, health professionals, and the judiciary to advocate for her clients. She also attended Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, delinquency hearings, emancipation meetings, and regional center meetings on behalf of clients.

In 2007, Wendy joined the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers firm ("LADL") representing parents, as well as children, in the Juvenile Dependency System. With LADL, she strives to reunify parents with their children, and ensures they have the tools and services they need to accomplish this goal. She has expertise in the mental health and delinquency aspects of juvenile practice and has also participated extensively in delinquency court proceedings involving dependency children and their parents. She serves on the LADL Legislative Committee and in that capacity helps to formulate the organization's legislative and policy agenda to support important legislative reform. She also functions as an advocate in the Los Angeles County Drug Court program, a unique collaborative justice project created by the Comprehensive Drug Court Implementation Act of 1999. This innovative program creates a partnership with the court, attorneys, treatment specialists, and others to provide individually-tailored services and responses to assist parents who have drug abuse problems.

Wendy's commitment to parents and their children has brought her to appreciate the benefits of Estate Planning. In this capacity, she is dedicated to working with families to alleviate their anxieties about the future by developing a comprehensive Estate Plan for the protection of their children, their future health, and their assets. In her spare time, Wendy spends time with her husband and two daughters. As a former chef, she also enjoys baking and cooking, as well as hiking and yoga.
